Welcome to the Kings Head from the landlords Ian & Suzanne Ballantine
At The Kings Head,
the whole team prides itself in looking after this very ‘English’ village inn,
nestled on the beautiful Suffolk coastline.
This historic 13th Century pub combines all the atmosphere of a
traditional inn with great real ales including Adnams Ghostship and Broadside with a
guest ale appearing periodically, a full and varied wine list and a selection
of Adnams and other Spirits.
Our daily changing menu consists of pub classics and an
array of specials with our Head Chef Laurent Pierre Bunn (Louis) bringing
a flavour of the Mediterranean to the menu having had a wealth of experience
working in Europe and beyond. All dishes are prepared using local, fresh,
ingredients where possible.
Situated at the
heart of the pretty village of Orford, The Kings Head is an ideal base from
which to explore the area that surrounds the pub which is rich in history and wildlife.
With stunning walks and a beautiful coastline on our doorstep, the choice of
attractions and pursuits are countless. We are dog friendly so your four-legged
companion can also enjoy a drink with you. Alternatively, you may just wish
to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax in tranquil

Both the bar and
dining room have wood-burning stoves to warm you through even on the coldest of
days, and when the sun comes out we have both decking and garden areas to enjoy.
